Sharon Fernández Torres

Admitted to the Lima Law School in 2007.

Dr. Fernández is a graduate of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. She is a graduate of the Master’s Degree in Taxation and Fiscal Policy at the Postgraduate School of the University of Lima, and has postgraduate studies with a special mention in International Studies at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences – UPC.

Dr. Fernández began her professional work in the Tax Court of Peru, a public institution dedicated to the resolution of tax disputes between the Tax Administration and private individuals, as well as the development of jurisprudential criteria that contribute to the growth of the national tax system.

In 2008, the National Superintendence of Tax Administration (SUNAT) was incorporated through a national competition, an institution in which it served as a solvency adviser.

At the moment, she actively collaborates and advises in fiscal and customs matters for national and foreign corporations supported by the Firm, being especially in charge of the processes of tax inspection and claims.

Also, Dr. Fernández is a member of the Board of Directors of the Civil Association Process and Justice, entity in charge of the preparation and edition of the magazine that bears the same name.

Her areas of specialization are Tax Law, Customs Law and Municipal Law.

Languages: Spanish, English and Italian.
