Admitted to the Lima Law School in 1973.

Dr. Pomar obtained the bachelor degree and later the title of lawyer with distinctions by the Particular University San Martín de Porres.

Dr. Pomar has been Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Lima school of Law Association. Member of the Supervisory Board of the National Office of Public Records. Member of the Special Commission in charge of elaborating the Draft Law of Reform of the Code of Commerce and has integrated the Commission Drafting of the Draft of the Law of Securities. In addition, he has served as Deputy of the Supreme Republic Court, as Alternate Judge of First Instance and Alternate Member of the Superior Court of Lima.

In the business field, he has been the director and agent of transnational firms and national industrial companies, has presided over the board of an industrial company and has served as Vice President of the Board and principal legal adviser to a major insurance company in the country.

Since graduating as a lawyer he has been linked to the Firm. His professional career is focused on supporting companies and individuals in important judicial processes in all areas of law, especially Civil, Commercial, Mining and Constitutional Law. This has been exercised in the most important courts of the Republic and is constantly the informant lawyer of the Firm for the Constitutional Court, Supreme Court and Superior Courts of the country. In addition, he has handle important arbitrations and has also been a referee on several occasions.

Due to his extensive experience in this area, he leads the Litigation and Arbitration area of the Firm, but also in the areas of Insurance, Securities and Commercial, Constitutional, Mining, Administrative Law and Business Law. Registral and Notary. Dr. Pomar has more than thirty years of professional practice, which places him as a principal legal counsel on the most important issues of the Study.

On the academic side, Dr. Pomar has taught courses in Commercial Law from the Faculties of Law of the Universidad Particular San Martin de Porres and the University of Lima.
