Dr. Navarro obtained the bachelor degree and graduated as a lawyer with distinctions from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. In 1956 and 1957 he studied at the Law School of New York University, obtaining his master’s degree. He has also attended various specialization courses and seminars in Argentina, Brazil, the United States and Mexico.

Dr. Navarro is a member of the Peruvian Institute of Tax Law and National Institute of Mining and Petroleum.

He has been president of the board of directors and/or director of companies in different areas of economic activity, including the Vice-presidency of the Board of Directors of The Peruvian National Bank and in different local and foreign banks and financial institutions, as well as in the agricultural, commercial, forestry, industrial, mining, insurance and telecom, among others, both inside country and abroad.

He has been president of the advisory commissions of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Industries, Tourism and Integration, as well as consultant to the Ministry of the Navy. Finally, he has presided the National Sports Tribunal.

As for the professional aspect, his career has developed in corporate, contractual, tax and financial matters. However, he also has been a consultant for mining and oil companies, and as an adviser he has participated in numerous international transactions.

Dr. Navarro has been practicing for more than forty years, having accumulated valuable experience. The Firm considers it as a partner and principal advisor and permanent consultant on the most important issues.
